The situation of education in Myanmar is dire, as many have pointed out. Parents are deeply concerned, teachers are scattered, and children are left uncertain about their future. The solutions seem chaotic, and although many are stepping up to help, the efforts feel slightly disconnected. Still, one thing is clear: Myanmar can’t afford to wait on education—it’s key to rebuilding its future. In this special report, we spoke with key stakeholders, including the NUG Education Minister, student activists, parents, and students, to explore the current landscape and the hopes for Myanmar’s next generation.
