Min Aung Hlaing & co must be proud. They managed to kill over 160 people in one airstrike. They must also be proud for the most of victims were women and children and their aerial bombs were powerful enough to blast them into pieces right during their meal. While some of us may have been busy remaining alive, this incident at Pazigyi Village in Sagaing Region disheartened all of us, but it also reminded us that this military regime would do anything to remain in power. These days, life seems absurd; one minute it was Thingyan festival, and another was an airstrike, but that’s the reality for the people of Myanmar. Although we do not know when and how this revolution will end, all of us continue to live another day and another month as we acknowledge our collective grief.
